Upper Canada Village is preparing to shine brighter than ever as the annual Alight at Night festival returns for its 25th anniversary season, running select evenings between November 28, 2025 and January 15, 2026.

To celebrate this milestone year, 80,000 additional lights have been added to the display, meaning well over a million bulbs will be twinkling beneath the open sky, illuminating the historic Village like never before.

The beloved holiday tradition invites guests to stroll the twinkling streets of the historic Village, enjoy old-fashioned carolling, and be dazzled by the festive sound and light show.

This year, guests can enjoy an interactive experience inside the new Toy Factory, located in the transformed Family Activity Centre. Victorian Saint Nick will be greeting his visitors in person, offering festive photo opportunities and warm holiday moments with his cheerful companions. Warm up with a cozy drink from the Toybox Café, and browse a charming selection of toys, handcrafted gifts, and commemorative souvenirs celebrating the festival’s 25th season.

Experience the wonder, nostalgia and joy that have made Alight at Night a must-see holiday destination for a quarter of a century. Alight at Night at Upper Canada Village is proud to announce participation in the Canada Strong Pass, giving more opportunities to experience Ontario’s most enchanting winter light festival. This means an extended season, open nightly from December 18 to January 15, with added perks like free admission for youth (5–17), half-price tickets for adults 18–24, and January opportunities to enjoy the light festival.
