The Friends of Crysler’s Farm Battlefield, in partnership with the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, will be hosting their biannual 1812 Battle Re-enactment in the summer of 2024. It is scheduled for Saturday July 6th and Sunday July 7th at the field immediately west of Upper Canada Village.
The objective of the Friends of Crysler’s Farm Battlefield War of 1812-14 Re-enactment is to create an experience that both educates and engages the imagination of the public. We do so by offering a learning experience in the form of living theatre, in which the public can for a few hours step back in time. This while offering a safe and entertaining arena for the War of 1812-14 re-enactment community to practice their craft. It is hoped that all re-enactors who participate in this event will do so in a spirit of camaraderie and good will. Knowing that they are in fact guarding the memory of those who fought and fell from being lost to the passage of time.
