Join sought after watercolour artist and international educator, Crystal Beshara at PMAC — The Priest’s Mill Arts Centre in Alexandria — for an introduction to the unique allure of watercolour painting that captivates beginners and seasoned artists alike. This is an unique opportunity to learn from an artist who normally teaches more advanced classes.
This is an intimate class with no more than 12 participants to ensure you get Crystal’s personal attention.
You will: • Learn best practices for selecting brushes, paper and the right palette mixing techniques • Explore fundamentals including how to work light to dark and avoiding blooms, graded washes, wet into wet, and dry brush methods • Use masking, splattering, lifting, and glazing for varied effects • Step-by-step exercises for hands-on learning • Detailed demonstrations of technique, addressing specific questions and issues.
