Hop aboard the bus in the village of Lancaster and join the historical adventure, exploring the back roads of old Lancaster Township. With commentary from Glengarry County Archivist, Allan J. MacDonald, the tour will cover:
– Home of a Rhodes Scholar
– One of Ontario’s 11 Bicentennial farms
– Glengarry’s Poultry Capital
– The North Lancaster Races
– Elbow Bend
– Church Hill
Join the fun and learn the hidden histories of people and places in Lancaster Township – once known as the Lake Township!
The tours will start and end in North Lancaster. Bus departs at 1:00 pm, will stop for a break half way, then return by approximately 4:00 pm.
