Father’s Day weekend is the perfect time for a classic fishing trip with Dad. As part of the celebration, the Ontario government is offering free fishing for all Canadian residents on June 14th and 15th—no license required! Whether you’re casting your line in the St. Lawrence River, Hoople Creek, or Mill Pond, it’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors and spend quality time together.

Challenge Dad to a round of golf! From the Morrisburg Golf Club to the Heritage Golf & Country Club in Lancaster, SDG Counties is home to a variety of stunning courses ranging from 9 to 18 holes. Watch the Smiths at Work
Calling all handy dads and history buffs! The Glengarry Pioneer Museum is hosting the 9th Annual Smith-In Blacksmith Festival on June 14th and 15th. Over 18 blacksmiths from across Ontario will be demonstrating their craft, making everything from musket barrels to 19th-century tools. It’s a fascinating blend of history and craftsmanship that’s sure to impress.
