Lavender Fields Open for Summer Season

By: SDG Tourism

Summer is here in Eastern Ontario and it’s time to discover our hidden gems! Summer holidays combined with local tourism assets can help you make lasting memories with your family and preserve them in treasured photos. This summer, our tourism team invites you to explore our local lavender farms!

Lavande Braydale is ready to welcome you! Located in Moose Creek, less than an hour from Ottawa and roughly the same distance from Montreal, this blooming farm will take your breath away with its endless rows of lavender, growing in five varieties of purple, pink, and white!

Prepare to stay awhile. Snuggle up in the field with a catered charcuterie board (order ahead to make sure there are adequate supplies) and enjoy your snacks while snapping pictures! De-stress as you walk through four acres of lavender, enjoy the view from one of the many white Adirondack chairs handcrafted from trees on the family farm, or watch as they distill batches of Lavender Essential Oil.

Book a photographer to capture your special moments or do so on your own as you bask in the relaxing atmosphere and enjoy the heavy scent of the plants blowing on the breeze. Bring the scent home with you to relieve your memories with bouquets of fresh-cut flowers or some of the assorted artisanal soaps crafter on site.

Lavande Braydale is located at 17683 Sandringham Road, Moose Creek, ON
