The Pipes Are Calling

By: SDG Tourism

The Glengarry Highland Games are in full swing this weekend!

Come be Scottish for a day! With plenty of events like Scottish Fiddling and the Clan Parade, there’s never a dull moment. You’ll find food concessions providing everything from Scottish fare to Louisiana BBQ to Lebanese Shwarma, accompanied by the ever-present roar of bagpipes filling the Maxville Fairgrounds.

Admission is only $30 each day!
(No pets are allowed on the fairgrounds)

There’s lots for kids to do – the Wee Bairns Zone is available both days, Junior Heavyweights, and Track and field on Saturday!

Enjoy a weekend of wall to wall Celtic entertainment that will keep everyone dancing to the best bands in Glengarry at two venues – The Tent and the Metcalfe Centre.

Get your fill of shopping at the fine Celtic merchants who ring the grounds-woollens, jewelry, ceramics, kilts and the famous Games t-shirt plus more!

There’s something for all ages at the games, especially with the fully accessible fairgrounds, and free parking!
