Family-Friendly March Break Activities in SDG Counties

By: SDG Tourism

The birds are singing, the snow is melting, and the days are getting longer – it must be March Break!

While the kids are looking at the week-long celebration with eager anticipation, mom and dad might have some concerns about how to fill the time. Fear not, there are a number of activities taking place this year for those who are looking to get out of the house, and others who may want to stick close to home.

SDG is home to many outdoor amenities, like the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary, Summerstown Trails, sugar bushes and even a barnyard zoo. Virtual activities are also being planned.

Before heading out the door, it’s best to check with individual event organizers to confirm that space remains available, and to ensure a better understanding of any COVID-related protocols.
